Police Hunt Armed Woman who threatened the Kardashian Sisters



The suspect entered the DASH boutique in Los Angeles on Thursday and threatened two members of staff with a handgun, police said.

The woman later returned to the DASH store brandishing a machete and threatened to execute the sisters,yelling 'stay away from Cuba'.

Two-Night Movement Restriction On Ikorodu Road by the Lagos State


Lagos State Government declares a partial restriction of movement on Ikorodu Road  due to the disused steel pedestrian bridge at Fadeyi Bus Stop with a new footbridge.

In a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Olujimi Hotonu, the State Government said the main carriage lanes of the Ikorodu Road would be closed to traffic for two nights on Saturday, 23rd September, between 11pm and 6am, and Sunday 24th between 11pm and 4am, while the service lanes will be open to traffic.

Shoucking: Gay Artisan accused of Killing apprentice for Dating Woman in Abuja


An artisan, Samarola Musa, has allegedly beaten his apprentice, Ademola Adeshina (pictured above), to death for his refusal to stop dating a lady in the Lugbe area of Abuja, Punchng reports.

Musa, who is facing a homicide charge at a Federal Capital Territory High Court, Gwagwalada, Abuja, is believed to have had a homosexual relationship with the 24-year-old man. .

It was learnt that an autopsy indicated that Ademola died as a result of the beating he received from Musa. The report also showed that the furniture maker had sodomised his apprentice before his death in May 2017. .

Musa, 42, in his statement to the police, said he slapped the deceased after he caught him having sex with the lady, identified simply as Precious, in his workshop, claiming that Ademola died of malaria a week after the incident. .

But Ademola’s father, Okuneye, faulted Musa’s claims, stressing that the son died from the beatings he received from the former bouncer, who he described as a huge man. .

He told Punchng that Musa had once informed him that Ademola was dating a lady he did not approve of, adding that he warned the deceased to stop going out with the lady. .

The bereaved father  he received a call from Precious, who narrated to him how Musa beat his son to death. He said, “The girl said she witnessed the assault and when she confronted Musa, he injured her in the leg. .

I asked if she was ready to make a statement at the police station about it and she agreed. Musa was arrested and he admitted to beating my boy because he was dating the girl. .

We did a post-mortem on the body and it showed that Ademola suffered serious internal injury from the beating. .

The autopsy also showed that the boy was sodomised; it was after this that we got to know that Musa is a well known homosexual in Lugbe and its environs; he had been sleeping with my son and he killed him because he was dating a woman.” .

The accused was remanded in Kuje prisons by the court on Monday, while the case was adjourned till November 20, 2017. :

Finally Some Good News as ASUU Suspends strike.


Members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities have suspended their the ongoing  strike action.

The Strike  action commenced on the 14th of August due to the lapses in the Educational Sector.

 Announcing the suspension, the President of the union, Accordind to Professor Biodun Ogunyemi, who made this known that the Strike action  would be suspended until the end of October for Federal government to fulfill all the promises made to the association.

He said " failure to fulfill the agreement would result in the resumption of the strike."

According to the new Police Commissioner in Abia state, Mr Anthony Ogbizi, says suspected members of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), recently arrested, will be prosecuted for murder, arson and other related crimes.

He made this known during a press briefing and parade of the seven suspected members of IPOB at Ariaria police station in  Aba.

 In Veiw of the proscription of IPOB by governors in the South East and its declaration as a terrorist group by Nigerian Army, anybody found with Biafran materials would be arrested and prosecuted under the anti-terrorism Act
Ogbizi, echoing what the army had earlier said, stressed that IPOB by their action had shown itself to be a “terrorist group” which must be dealt with as such.  between Sept. 10 and Sept 14 the Ariaria police station was attacked by suspected members of IPOB who destroyed everything at the station.

“Even some policemen were seriously injured. In fact as I am talking to you, one of the injured police officer is dead. Doctors tried in vain to save his life.

“Now we have lost a soul and you know what it takes to train a police officer. You know the vacuum that creates. It takes a minimum of one year to train a police officer”, he said.

The said alleged  group attacked a nearby bank to get money to acquire more weapons.

The police boss said  about 30 IPOB members were arrested when they attacked soldiers at Isiala Ngwa and about 29 were arrested in Umuahia.

Suspected IPOB members also attacked military officers and the residences of Commissioner of Police and AIG Zone 9 in Umuahia.

It is said that the army recovered several  exhibits including  the coat of arms of Biafra from the suspects.
